Valerie Morris
anchors Smart Assets, the new personal finance desk,

such as real estate, retirement planning and the

highlighting financial options available for individuals
to manage their
personal wealth.
Valerie came to CNN in 1996 from WPIX-TV in New York,
where she was a general assignment reporter and weekend
anchor. Previously she established herself as a
broadcast journalist in San Francisco where she worked
for KRON-TV. Valerie has received various awards and
recently served as a special Guest Moderator for BCW's
national diversity forum Can We Talk?™. More
